Welcome to Maui

Maui is known as the island of romance and rainbows and nearly everywhere you go here you can see why. The magic of Maui extends from the bustling town of Lahaina , (where whaling ships once frequented) to the peaceful hamlet of Hana and from one shore to another, you are sure to find this island magical in many ways.

Here you'll find the perfect blend of metropolitan and Hawaiian lifestyles.
Haleakala crater is one of the popular tourist sites on this island and features exciting bike tours down it's steep slopes and it's small towns of  Makawao and Paiea which reside on these slopes are positively charming. Check out their quaint boutiques and cafes and get your fill of Kula greens and Maui onions. If you want to take home a souvenir why not get some of those incredible protea flowers. All of these items are only grown in "upcountry" Maui.

During the winter Maui has yet another site to see, the humpback whales . These mighty mammals of the sea migrate to the Hawaiian Islands to mate and calve. Maui's Maalea Bay is their main destination, though they are seen around all the islands. You can get an eyeful of these awesome creatures from November to Mid-May with February being the height of the season. Bring your binoculars and view them from the shore or why not try one of the many educational and informative whale watching excursions.

With so much to do and see it's no wonder Maui is fast becoming the most popular island in the chain.
