Welcome to Oahu

With a population of over 800,000 strong, added with the constant flux of visitors, Oahu well deserves the coined title of "The Gathering Place".

Typically the first island to be seen by incoming visitors whether it be their final destination or a stop enroute to one of the other islands, the far east or the mainland, Oahu is by far the busiest and most metropolitan of the Hawaiian chain.

From famous Waikiki to Waimanalo, there's plenty to see, do and eat!  Yes, we said "eat", as there are more restaurants of every possible variety than of all the other islands put together. Many of these restaurants offer unique environments and services that would make for a wonderful wedding reception location.

Despite the fact that Oahu is by far the most populous of the islands, there are still many beautiful and romantic sites well suited for a nuptial exchange. How about any one of the botanical gardens or beaches followed by a professional luau ?

Another option might be to say your vows atop Diamond Head crater or under a Banyan tree in a Honolulu beach park.

There are a multiplicity of ideas and sites from the lavish to the barefoot and basic to choose from.

Just check out our Oahu wedding sites and idea page for more suggestions.
